What happens after you submit your documents?

The documents are sent to assessors up to four weeks before the interview.

These documents include:

  1. Summary of Experience: This document provides a comprehensive overview of your experience gained during the training period. It highlights the key projects, tasks, and responsibilities you have undertaken, showcasing your skills and competencies.
  2. CPD Record: Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is crucial for ongoing growth and learning. The CPD record demonstrates your commitment to staying updated with industry trends, attending relevant courses, workshops, and conferences, and acquiring new knowledge and skills.
  3. Case Study: The case study is an opportunity to display your problem-solving abilities. It presents a real-life project or scenario where you faced challenges and successfully resolved them. This document demonstrates your analytical thinking, decision-making skills, and ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations.

What do the assessors do with this information?

Assessors use the information provided, including the case study, summary of experience, and CPD record. They review the case study and formulate a series of questions that will be asked during the interview, focusing on the specific details of the case study. Additionally, the assessors will also ask questions that cover your overall experience, drawing from the summary of experience and CPD record. This comprehensive approach allows the assessors to assess your knowledge, skills, and competencies in both the specific case study and your broader professional experience.

What do you need to do?

To prepare for the final assessment, it is important to review your documents, specifically the examples provided in your case study and summary of experience. The assessors will use this information to evaluate your problem-solving abilities.

I recommend that you prepare at least three examples in advance that demonstrate your problem-solving skills. By doing so, you will be well-prepared to showcase your abilities during the assessment.

Good luck!
